Silica gel litter: crystal size, dust and packaging questions
A buyer checklist for evaluating crystal integrity, absorption direction, color, fragrance and moisture protection.
DEFINE THE CRYSTAL FORMAT
Confirm the intended crystal-size range, natural or colored appearance, fragrance direction and pack weight. Visual consistency should be assessed against the approved sample under the same lighting.
CHECK INTEGRITY AND POWDER
Screen or weigh representative samples from the top and bottom of the bag. Compare chipped crystals and fine powder before and after a transport-style handling test.
AGREE ON THE ABSORPTION METHOD
Absorption and odor-control results depend on crystal grade, quantity, liquid load, test duration and use conditions. Record the method with the result so buyer and supplier are discussing the same target.
PROTECT THE PRODUCT
Review moisture-barrier direction, seal integrity and storage conditions with the filled commercial bag. Recheck product condition after storage rather than approving the film structure in isolation.
KEEP CLAIMS SKU-SPECIFIC
Duration, absorption and odor-control wording should be supported by the final product, pack weight, test method and destination-market review.
